Helping disabled people to become glider pilots.

Our Mission

Glideability is a UK registered charity that wants to encourage, motivate and provide disabled people with the opportunity to learn to become glider pilots and so increase their horizons.

To do this we are initially purchasing modification kits to allow existing gliders to be fitted with hand controls to be used for rudder control instead of the foot operated controls.  Our aim going forwards is to purchase suitable modified gliders that can be used to run courses at clubs across England and Wales.

If you would like to experience a glider flight just to get a feel if this is something you would like to do look at the map of UK gliding clubs to find one convenient for you.
